The ATOM is a compact USB MIDI pad controller built for beatmaking, drum programming, sample triggering, loop launching, virtual instrument control, and hands-on production. It integrates especially well with PreSonus Studio One and also works with Ableton Live and other MIDI-compatible DAWs.
PreSonus describes the ATOM as an intuitive MIDI pad controller with dynamic, ultra-sensitive pads for beats, synth lines, sound effects, and loops. Sweetwater lists it as a groove production hardware control surface with 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads, 4 rotary encoders, switchable pressure modes, selectable pad velocity curves, 8 pad banks, and USB 2.0 connectivity.
