Its solid Sitka spruce top provides shimmering highs, while the rosewood back and sides add warmth and sustain. The mahogany neck has a comfortable, rounded profile for effortless playing. This limited-edition model features a stunning blacktop finish, setting it apart from the traditional J-45. Plug in the onboard L.R. Baggs Element system when you want to amplify your acoustic tone with studio-quality sound.

Timeless Tonewoods

The foundation of the limited-edition J-45 Standard's tone comes from its solid Sitka spruce top, and rosewood back and sides. These premium tonewoods have been used for centuries to build world-class acoustic guitars. Sitka spruce responds with a wide dynamic range to capture the nuances of your playing style. Its stiff, lightweight properties also provide projection to cut through a mix. Rosewood adds warmth, richness and sustain. Together, these woods produce the balanced, full tone the J-45 Standard Rosewood is known for.

Comfortable Rounded Neck Profile

The J-45 Standard Rosewood's mahogany neck has a rounded profile that feels familiar and comfortable in your hands. Its short 24.75" scale length reduces string tension for easy fretting. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. With 20 frets, the neck offers flexibility for various styles. The overall design provides an enjoyable playing experience whether you're strumming chords, picking melodies or soloing.

Vintage Style With Modern Versatility

While the J-45 Standard Rosewood has an iconic vintage design, it also includes modern features for today's guitarist. Its mother-of-pearl block logo and matching dot inlays exude retro elegance. Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners provide accurate and stable tuning. The guitar's bold blacktop finish and belly-up bridge further enhance the vintage vibe. Yet the J-45 Standard Rosewood offers modern versatility with its onboard L.R. Baggs Element electronics. Simply plug in to amplify your acoustic tone or shape your sound with EQ and reverb controls. This blend of traditional and contemporary makes this guitar ideal for a range of music styles.
