DESCRIPTION
The Korg Electribe EA-1 is a classic late-'90s analog-modeling groove synth built for hands-on sequencing and real-time sound shaping. With two independent synth parts, each featuring dual oscillators, filter, amp, and effects, the EA-1 is great for dialing in everything from punchy bass lines and acid-style sequences to leads, bleeps, and experimental textures.
Its 16-step interface makes building patterns fast and intuitive, while Motion Sequence lets you record knob movements directly into a pattern for evolving, animated sounds. You also get Ring Mod, Sync, Decimator, distortion, tempo delay, and chorus/flanger, plus an external audio input that allows the EA-1 to process outside gear through its filter and effects.
Simple, immediate, and loaded with that unmistakable early Electribe character, the EA-1 is still a killer little box for electronic production, hardware jams, and live setups.
