Very good cosmetic condition Aiwa AD-F810. Purchased from a fellow Reverb seller in 2021 as a serviced unit with new belts. The transport is fantastic: three heads, dual capstan, Dolby B/C, HX Pro, and the cassette mechanism runs great. Almost an awesome deck ...
The catch: one channel of the RCA output intermittently drops out. Pressing on the output cables often restores it, and it's gotten more finicky over time. I suspect it's a bad solder joint on the RCA jack legs, a common and usually easy fix for anyone comfortable with a soldering iron. While the issue makes for annoying listening, it hasn't yet compelled me to send it off for repair.
In my experience the deck records to tape just fine. So if you're making cassette releases or dubbing down to tape, it does the job. But can be a pain to monitor output.
Selling as-is given the output issue, priced accordingly. A great project for someone who solders, or a working recorder as long as you're aware of the quirk.
