Sound
The steel shell produces a bright, lively tone with plenty of crack and projection, while the shallow 3.5" depth gives the drum an extremely fast response. Tune it high for a sharp, cutting piccolo sound or lower it slightly for a surprisingly fat backbeat.
It's a great addition to any drummer's collection and particularly useful for creating contrasting sounds alongside a deeper primary snare.
