Up for sale is a fantastic and hard-to-find vintage low-end workhorse: a Yamaha BB3000A built at Yamaha's acclaimed Taiwan facility in July 1988 (Serial: ON290321).

The Broad Bass series has been a secret weapon for session players and touring pros for decades. This particular instrument has been thoughtfully upgraded with top-tier modern hardware to make it an absolute powerhouse live and in the studio.

• Upgraded Hardware: Fitted with high-end, upgraded replacement tuning pegs and a premium Gotoh bridge for enhanced tuning stability, sustain, and intonation precision.
• Upgraded Electronics Layout: Features upgraded control knobs and a sharp custom pearl-style pickguard.
• Neck-Through-Body Construction: Delivers massive, piano-like sustain and structural stability.
• Active Electronics (BB3000A): Provides extensive active tonal shaping, ranging from punchy mid-range cut to deep, room-shaking lows.

Condition: This bass is in Very Good player condition. It has been well-maintained with minor, honest signs of playing wear consistent with its age. Note the paint chips on the back side of the head and body. Note the buckle scratches on the back side. Structurally, the neck is straight, the truss rod functions smoothly, and the active preamp and upgraded hardware perform flawlessly.

Includes:

• Heavy-duty black hardshell case (shown in photos) for safe transport. Two of the feet of the case are damageded. It is not the original case.

Please note: The bridge, tuners, knobs, and pickguard have been upgraded from the original factory specs to higher-quality components.
