Impossibly rare piece of Moog history. One of the 901 oscillators from Joel Chabade's mighty CEMS.
I have been told only a few of this variant ever existed, it is the earliest version. The last picture posted shows it next to a standard 901, the CEMS is on the right. The circuit layout is different, the waveforms are different. Perfect triangle, nice boxy square. Tracking is generally better (it's almost 60).
Had a conversation with Joel about 10 years ago, he said they worked with the factory to do some things to make the oscs work better in the system, but was otherwise vague and wanted to talk about Kyma.
Asking a premium due to it's pedigree and rarity.
Note the faded label common to R.A. modules, serial and date are hard to see.
Selling all the Moog stuff AS-IS check my other auctions, my whole studio is going.
