ASM’s flagship Hydrasynth in the limited 5th Anniversary Silver Edition, a run of 200 units. Sixteen voices across a dual sound engine setup with the full 73-note Polytouch polyphonic aftertouch keybed. The Silver Edition adds the sparkling silver finish, 5th Anniversary print on the top panel, custom Hydrasynth logo side panels, and an exclusive patch bank built for the run. This one does unfortunately have the issue some of these had, where certain simultaneous actions can cause the keyboard to produce harsh noise at the output. In my experience this only has happened if I try to change patches while still holding down keys on the keybed, so I’ve made a habit of letting off before changing patches and have not had an issue on gigs or in studio since. It’s a great sounding keyboard, and ASM does have a fix I just don’t have the time to go through the process and would rather this go to someone who’s going to use it more.
