Faderfox DJ3 Controller

The Faderfox DJ3 is a compact, professional USB MIDI controller designed for hands-on DJ performance. Built in Germany with high-quality ALPS faders, potentiometers and encoders, it delivers an impressive amount of control in a remarkably small footprint.

Originally optimized for Native Instruments Traktor Pro, the DJ3 can control up to four decks, four FX units, EQ, filters, channel volume, crossfader, loops, pitch, key, cue functions, transport controls and library navigation. Nearly every control also has a secondary Shift function, providing access to approximately 250 assignable commands.

The controller is USB class-compliant and does not require a proprietary driver. It can also be manually mapped to other MIDI-compatible DJ or music software. I tested it with Mixxx’s MIDI Learn function, and the faders and controls transmitted MIDI correctly.
