Rizzuto Guitars True Temperament VRS w/ Fender Stratocaster Clapton Midboost Strat Preamp

The True Temperament fret design makes chords play more in tune up and down the neck. It is surprising how easy it is to adjust to these crazy shaped frets and how amazing the guitar plays and sounds with this innovation.

This guitar uses the best available hardware and electronics and is meticulously set up for optimal playability. It is absolutely on par with the best boutique guitars in the marketplace. The Seymour Duncan 59 bridge humbucker, vintage Rizzuto 59 single coils with ALNICO V magnets (middle is RWRP) and Fender midboost make this a supremely versatile instrument. The midboost can be bypassed with the push/push lower tone knob which also controls the amount of midboost. This is true bypass wiring so it is removed from the circuit when bypassed. The middle knob is a TBX tone control. This setup gets all of the passive tones of an HSS strat plus the active variants when activated. The midboost increases gain and thickness and changes the interaction of the volume knob. This is similar to the circuit Michael Landau used for his legendary recordings.

The body is lightweight Alder. The neck is made of hard Maple and has a Purple Heart fingerboard. The scale length 25.5 inch scale and the stainless steel frets have a 12 radius. It has a C shape and is medium thickness (.855 in at the first fret and .945 at the12th fret). The neck is finished with oil and wax for a slick, excellent woody feel. The R is a dark Purple resin to match the fingerboard wood. The nut is a GraphTech TUSQ XL self lubricating that was hand shaped and slotted for optimal action. The tuners are Japan made GOTOH vintage with staggered height so there is no need for a string tree. The tremolo is a two post from GOTOH. The saddle height adjustment screws were changed to sizes that do not protrude for easier, more comfortable palm muting. The neck plate is Aluminum and is countersunk into the body. A tremolo back plate can be added if the buyers wishes.

This guitar will ship with a new high end Gator Icon gig bag, TKL bag, a TKL case or a molded hard case. I can send more info on the case options so the buyer can decide on the free case option.
