Exactly what you think - it's a great wah pedal for bass, and could obviously be used for guitar if you like the frequency. No noise, smooth travel. Built like a tank.
It's worth noting, see photos of back, that this pedal was made before Dunlop started putting a battery cover. You can use it with battery power, but this requires accessing through the back panel via the four foot screws. I used it on a pedal board with a D'Addario XPND daisy chain ... no problem at all.
