For sale is an AKG D1000E that is working properly with a nice bass response. I have zero doubts this microphone functions as it should. This microphone has very little wear as well which is certainly not always the case.
Inside, the original capsule was just serviced to have it cleaned and brand new foam was installed inside the grille. Normally the foam is completely missing inside or crumbling, which leads them to sound worse than they should. Lastly, these AKG mics from the 70s were not the most durable or resistant to drops, so certainly be wary when buying them with limited details.
If you want a clean D1000E, this would be a nice buy.
