Cadenzia Cadenzia / Palmer 1940-1979 - Chrome

Up for sale is a vintage Cadenzia mechanical pocket metronome, highly prized by musicians and collectors as a rare piece of horological music history. Manufactured by Cadenzia S.A. in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, these devices were first introduced in the 1940s and produced through the 1970s. They were built by Swiss watchmakers utilizing precise mechanical watch movements.

This one was used by a family member that taught piano and guitar in the 1960s and 1970s. Goes from 40 to 200 bpm.

In great, clean condition with no scratches on the front glass. Still in excellent working condition. I do have a video which I can share with anyone that messages me with interest in this great vintage piece of music history! Analog pieces like this are getting more and more rare to find.

Pocket-Watch Design: It is enclosed in a chrome-plated, watch-style metal case meant to fit easily inside a pocket or travel bag.
