The Parker Fly: a design thirty years old and still ahead of its time. A carbon fiber skin that eliminates any neck heel entirely...unlikely there's ever been a guitar with greater upper fret access, but that was only the beginning of the innovations. A Fly weighs under 5lbs...balance it on the strap button on your pinkie. Played by everyone from Joni Mitchell to Adrian Belew, they're no longer being made, become ever more collectable and continue to appreciate over time. These guitars have a devoted cult following, and I'd hoped to go to my grave owning this one, but life had other plans. Original owner, comes with the original Parker hard shell case, case candy, a spare alternative #9 spring, in addition to the #10 installed. (These springs correspond to string gauge and provides the trem arm, another Parker innovation, with proper tension...these springs (see photo) themselves can be quite dear when and if they do show up for sale.) All electronics working, tiny imperfection on the lower bout cutaway (tried to photograph it, but it is less than 1mm, black on black, and does not show in pix).
