What's included- Joe Meek JM47 (Black)
- Soft Case
The Joe Meek JM47 is a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone built around a gold-sputtered mylar diaphragm capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern and a frequency response spanning 20Hz to 20kHz. Its FET preamplifier feeds a transformer output stage - a combination that lends the mic a warm, classic character associated with vintage large-diaphragm designs. Output impedance is 200 ohms balanced, sensitivity is rated at approximately -36dB, and the mic delivers a signal-to-noise ratio of 74dB with a dynamic range of 126dB. Onboard controls include a switchable -10dB pad and a high-pass filter, making it adaptable for louder sources and reducing low-end rumble where needed. The mic requires 48V phantom power and is housed in a brass body with a black powder coat finish - designed in the UK by Ted Fletcher to specifications informed by classic Gefell and Neumann large-diaphragm principles.
A great opportunity to own a Joe Meek JM47 at this price point.
