Up for sale is an exceptional, investment-grade British masterpiece: an authentic JMI 15/4 Twin 2x12 Combo, hand-built during the legendary Music Ground "golden era" (2005–2010).

This specific unit was completed on 3rd March 2008 and features the handwritten initials "NB" (Nick Browning) inside the cabinet, confirming his personal master craftsmanship on the woodwork and structural assembly before Steve Giles' departure from the company.

Unlike standard production variants, this amplifier features a gorgeous, incredibly rare factory White Tolex finish and comes complete with a high-end bespoke padded waterproof slipcover to keep the pristine exterior completely immaculate.

Artist Provenance & Festival History:

Originally sourced directly from the flagship JMI/Music Ground store on Denmark Street in London, this exact amplifier has genuine British indie-rock history. It was supplied to and used live on stage by the charting band One Night Only during their massive performance on the NME/Radio 1 Stage at T in the Park 2008. You can watch this exact amplifier on the festival backline in their live performance video for "Just For Tonight" on YouTube link below

Specifications & Valve Lineup:

• Speakers: 2x 12” Custom-Spec JMI-Badged Fane Alnico Blue Speakers (recreating the legendary early '60s Jennings Blue tone with smoother top-end and rich mid-range compressions).
• Rectifier: Premium Harma EZ81 (Selected & tested by Watford Valves for perfect vintage power supply "sag").
• Power Section: 2x JJ EL84 running in true cathode-biased, no-negative-feedback configuration.
• Pre-amp Section: 2x JJ ECC83 (Normal/Vib-Trem channels), 1x balanced JJ ECC83 (Phase Inverter), 1x vintage Phillips ECC82 (driving the pitch-shifting Vibrato/Tremolo oscillator circuit), and 1x premium Tung-Sol EF86 (the heart of the legendary Channel 1 chime).

Condition:

The amplifier is in excellent working and cosmetic condition. The hand-wired point-to-point chassis runs incredibly quiet with a shockingly low noise floor, and the Tung-Sol EF86 is completely free of microphonic rattling. The rare White Tolex has been meticulously protected by its custom padded cover.
