This is a Fender 70th Anniversary American Vintage II 1954 Stratocaster in excellent condition.

Purchased used in 2025, this guitar has spent the vast majority of the past year in its case and has seen very little playing time. I simply have other Strat-style guitars that I tend to reach for, so I’ve decided to move this one along.

The guitar is extremely clean and close to mint throughout most of the instrument. The only cosmetic wear I can find is a scratch on the lower-left area of the back of the guitar and some scuffing along the bottom curve/edge where the guitar would rest on your leg while playing. I have done my best to clearly photograph these areas. Otherwise, the guitar, neck, headstock, hardware, and finish are all exceptionally clean. Please see the photos for the exact condition.

The only modification is that the original vintage-style 3-way pickup selector switch has been replaced with a 5-way switch, allowing the additional familiar Strat pickup combinations. The original factory 3-way switch is included, so the guitar can be returned to its original configuration if desired.

One of the great things about this particular guitar is that it is being sold as a very complete package. It includes the special 70th Anniversary tweed hardshell case along with the original case candy and documentation shown in the photos, including:

• Fender Certificate of Authenticity
• Original 3-way pickup selector switch
• Original paperwork/documentation
• Tremolo arm
• Tremolo arm spring
• Case keys

The special 70th Anniversary tweed hardshell case is also in very good condition. It does have a couple of nicks/marks in the exterior leather/tweed trim from normal handling, which I have tried to represent accurately in the photos. It is a case, after all, and has done its job of keeping the guitar itself extremely clean.

Overall, this is an excellent example of Fender’s 70th Anniversary recreation of the original 1954 Stratocaster, with very little playing time and essentially all of the original accessories and documentation included.

The guitar will be packed extremely carefully and shipped safely in its original hardshell case with appropriate exterior protection.
