🚨 CONDITION NOTE FOR VINTAGE RESTORERS: This is an immaculate Out-of-Box (OOB) New-Old-Stock (NOS) survivor from the late 70s/early 80s. The head has been stored with exceptional care and is in pristine condition with no cosmetic scratches, scuffs, or storage discoloration to the clear film or the center black dot. This head is suitable for vintage drum collectors, recording studios, and restoration specialists: a pristine, rare New-Old-Stock vintage Remo WeatherKing Controlled Sound 11" C.S. Batter drumhead. It features the factory-original classic late 1970s / early 1980s pointed crown logo layout with the crisp "WEATHER KING / C.S. BATTER / MADE IN U.S.A." text branding cleanly preserved.

Introduced in 1968, this specialized, out-of-print 11-inch clear film configuration features Remo's iconic 10-mil single-ply architecture topped with a laminated 5-mil center Black Dot. This design is engineered explicitly to eliminate harsh overtones, add immense structural durability, and deliver a deeply fat, focused midrange bark with an articulate acoustic attack. Perfect for restoring hard-to-find 11" vintage Slingerland, Rogers, or Premier rack toms and marching tenors. The aluminum hoop is perfectly in-round and un-warped.

The head has been safely sealed inside a 3mil protective sleeve to lock out ambient moisture and dust. It will be packed flat and between cardboard panels to protect against transit warping or flexing. Ships fully insured with direct carrier tracking throughout.
