🚨 CONDITION NOTE: This is an immaculate, flawless Out-of-Box (OOB) New-Old-Stock (NOS) survivor from the late 70s/early 80s. The head has sticker branding that is lifting a bit on the edges and about a third of the head has some yellowing due to oxidation. That said, it is 100% structurally sound, un-played and ready to seat. Please see pics for details and message with any questions.
This head is suitable for symphonic percussionists, university music departments, and concert snare restorers: an un-played vintage Ludwig Weather Master 15" Orchestral Batter drumhead. It features the factory-original applied logo decal badge layout with the "ORCHESTRAL BATTER" text cleanly preserved.
The rare 15" coated white film features a medium-heavy single-ply formulation engineered explicitly to soften sharp stick attack, throwing off a deeply warm, dark, and focused symphonic fundamental note perfect for deep orchestral field drums or concert snare shells. The aluminum hoop is perfectly in-round, flat, and un-warped.
📦 Packing & Shipping Protection:
The head has been safely sealed inside a 3mil protective sleeve to lock out ambient moisture and dust. It will be packed flat and between cardboard panels to protect against transit warping or flexing. Ships fully insured with direct carrier tracking throughout.
