The upside of 944 for those who can use it: it sits well clear of the crowded UHF television blocks, so in dense RF environments you are not fighting for space with every other wireless rig on the lot.

WHAT IT IS

The IFBT4 is the base-station transmitter half of a Lectrosonics IFB system - the standard rig for feeding IFB earpieces to talent, directors, and crew on broadcast, film, theater, and stage work. Frequency-agile across the entire 944 block, so you tune to whatever is clear rather than being stuck on a crystal.

FRONT PANEL

- LCD display with SELECT up/down keys and MENU stepping

- TUNE / XMIT switch - tune with no RF output, then lock to transmit

- Menu walks channel/frequency, audio level with VU metering, and lock/unlock (hold MENU 6 seconds)

REAR PANEL

- XLR audio input

- Four-position MODE DIP switches: CC, MIC, LINE, RTS1, RTS2 - so it drops into a comms system or takes program audio directly

- BNC antenna connector

- 6-18 VDC power input, 250mA-100mA

Operating instructions are printed right on the case side, which is genuinely useful when you are setting it up in the dark.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD - WORKING, WITH HONEST COSMETIC WEAR

Functions correctly. All buttons and switches work, the display is legible, and every connector is clean and undamaged.

Cosmetically it has had a working life and looks it: scuffing across the case, some paint loss along the edges and corners, and a large "BIK 944" ID label on the lid from whoever inventoried it. The label is removable if you want it gone. None of this affects function.
