We started with PedalPCB's Complex Overdrive board - their take on the Friedman Smallbox circuit - and made it our own with a couple of small tweaks.
Most notable, we've changed out the standard double red LED clipping configuration for an orange and red - making it EVERY SO SLIGHTLY asymmetrical and giving it a little richer feel.
As always, we've built using high quality components - genuine TI chips, Rean/Neutrik jacks, lead free solder, and old fashioned cloth covered wires.
