I didn't find any play wear on this instrument. I purchased this from an estate collection. The way the strings were on the peg head was messy, but I corrected that. I also installed NEW CR2032 batteries for the onboard pickup/tuner. The instrument works properly, is easy to play, and sounds fine through our bass amp here at the shop. It's fretless, but the fingerboard has lighter colored wood where the fret slots would be, so it's easy to navigate. It's in ready-to-play condition, and has a light weight violin style rigid case. Our in-house bass player plays on a full scale electric, or 3/4 upright, and he said it sounds similar to an upright, and it super portable.
