This is the second vintage Gibson that I’ve had for sale—and again, it’s one of my very favorites! So why am I selling it?
I have enough vintage instruments right now. It’s that simple, really. I would like to have a more modern mahogany—I’ve never had a mahogany that isn’t vintage.
This Gibson is in great shape. There is normal wear and tear for a for an instrument that is 75 years old. No evidence of cracks or repairs. The wood is seasoned and it rings like a bell, while also having that pleasing dryness.
The tuners have been upgraded to Gotohs. It comes with the original case, which is pleasantly dinged up.
If you have UAS, or borderline UAS, you actually need a vintage tenor in order to function normally.
