This particular guitar was personally hand-selected at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville by a longtime Long & McQuade employee, luthier & Gibson specialist, during a factory visit (I can share his name with anyone that is a serious buyer & wants to confirm the story with him). It was chosen & brought back to Long & McQuade for retail sale. I originally bought it when I worked there myself (hard not to when you see it every day). However, I just don't play it enough, it's been in it's case since the middle of February now, probably only has a few hours of play time. It should go to a collector or to someone that'll actually play it. The flame maple top on this guitar is absolutely stunning & is the nicest examples I've ever come across personally. If you're looking for a collector-quality Murphy Lab Boneyard, this is one worth considering.
Included: * Original Custom Shop case * Certificate of Authenticity * All original case candy * Original Gibson paperwork * Gibson factory pen * Everything exactly as it came from the factory
The guitar has no modifications, damage, or issues. It plays and sounds exactly as a Murphy Lab '59 should.
