This guitar started life as a late 70s DC150. It was kind of a mess when I picked it up. Somebody had mucked with the electronics, and if you know these guitars you probably know it was a fairly complex configuration for these originally. I opted to replace all of the original components. Overall it had good bones so I decided to use it as a build platform. I will also preface by saying I am not a professional builder, just a hobbyist. I procured an Epiphone Probucker kit and wired it up to a custom pickguard I cut by hand. I have the original Carvin pickups if you would like them. I will include them at no extra cost. It's a player and sounds great. The neck is pretty beefy and doesn't really suit me, but it feels nice. The action and intonation is good all the way up the neck. It includes the original Carvin hard shell case which is in good condition. Free shipping is included. Offers welcome.
