The passive, battery-free Silent circuit effectively reduces the hum typical of single-coil pickups without altering the authentic tonal character of the fitted Coastline ’57 pickups. As a result, players benefit from classic Strat sounds with improved noise reduction. An alder body, the comfortable Modern ‘C’-shaped maple neck and high-quality hardware ensure comfortable playability, whilst preserving the authentic vintage Strat sound with shimmering highs and prominent mids. The spec is rounded off by a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronised tremolo, Fender ClassicGear staggered tuners and the Greasebucket tone circuit. With the Silent Stratocaster, Fender presents the legendary Strat sound with a level of noise reduction never before seen.
