Roland Juno-106 – Vintage Analogue Polyphonic Synthesizer – US 110V – Transformer Included

The legendary Juno-106.

If you’ve been waiting for that unmistakable early-’80s Roland analogue sound, here it is.

The Roland Juno-106 is one of those synthesizers that needs very little introduction. Six-voice polyphony, DCO stability, that famously warm filter, onboard chorus and one of the most recognisable analogue synth sounds ever made.

This is the US 110V version and is being sold with a step-down transformer suitable for use from UK 220–240V mains, so you don’t need to hunt around for the correct power solution.

CONDITION

This is a genuine vintage Juno-106 and has cosmetic signs of its age and previous use, which can be seen clearly in the photographs.

There are various marks and signs of wear to the casing and control panel, and there is some noticeable wear/damage to one of the white keys.

I’ve deliberately photographed the synthesizer from multiple angles so that the condition is completely transparent.

This isn’t a modern reproduction pretending to be vintage. It’s the real thing — a Roland Juno-106 from the era when these machines were actually being used to make the records that everyone is now trying to recreate.

THE SOUND

This is why people still want them.

The Juno-106 has become one of the defining analogue polysynths of the 1980s, appearing on countless records and continuing to be used by producers, musicians and studios today.

The combination of the DCOs, resonant filter, simple hands-on programming and legendary chorus is still ridiculously effective.

Turn it on, find a patch, hit the Chorus button and suddenly it’s 1984 again.

IMPORTANT: This is the US 110V version.

A suitable step-down transformer is included, allowing it to be operated from UK 220–240V mains.

A NOTE FOR THE JUNO-106 COLLECTOR

These are increasingly difficult to find in genuinely original, honest condition.

There are now plenty of highly restored Juno-106s on the market at considerably higher prices. Current Reverb UK listings include examples around £1,300 in Good condition and serviced examples around £1,699–£1,966.  

This one is being offered as an honest vintage instrument rather than dressed up as a museum piece.
