Rare 1974 Early Babbitt “Super“ Tone Master
6* (measures at a 7)
Tenor metal mouthpiece
Bought this mouthpiece from someone who played it once (high school student).
Comes with the Original box, OG ligature & original receipt from original owner bought in 1985.
Mouthpiece refacer leveled side rails one pass through, no internal work done, denim etching on table. Cross referenced to the GetaSax Otto Link Identification Chart and multiple mouthpiece refacers in the music community.
Great mouthpiece with a lot of projection, focus and can really get into the Coltrane realm of sound if worked on.
Great piece of Saxophone history for a collector as well.
Not a metal mouthpiece player, would love for this to go to someone who will appreciate it
