MODDED! RME Fireface UC USB Audio Interface

I have two of these and am keeping one as my personal interface. I originally planned on linking the two together via optical cables, but have chosen to only do mixbus outboard processing rather than stems/summing so I no longer need all the extra channels.

I just got done performing the following circuit modifications:

• All 4580 opamps have been replaced with ultra low noise A Grade TLE2072 opamps - a high-performance replacement for the tl072 analog king. 
• All audio path electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with Panasonic FC premium audio grade capacitors.
  

Here is how I would describe the sonic benefits of the modifications:

The 'forward' nature of the RME sound is retained, but the top end is more detailed and open sounding without being harsh or brittle, and the low end is less boxy without becoming too boomy or flabby.

Overall a more well rounded signal path without that slightly 'grainy' texture that this generation of RME interfaces is know for.

Fireface UC, power supply, and original user manual are included.

(USB and midi breakout cables are NOT included)

All items that I sell will be packaged well enough to safely arrive in the condition described and photographed.
