Ibanez OD-850 Overdrive, Version 3, made in Japan around 1978/79.
Rare vintage Ibanez pedal from the narrow box series with block logo and “Flying Fingers” graphics. Despite its name, the OD-850 is essentially a thick, organic fuzz closely related to the Ram’s Head Big Muff circuit, with plenty of sustain and a wide-ranging tone control.
The pedal is in good, used condition for its age and works as it should. Very occasionally, the Distortion pot produces a brief crackling noise. Moving the control firmly once clears it immediately. I prefer to mention this for full transparency. If desired, I can clean or replace the pot before shipping. 2 screws missing.
Please see photos for the cosmetic condition.
