Great tube mic pre up there with the best. Capable of deep, clear, 3-D resolution or more driven sounds when pushed, easy to do with multiple tube stages and input + trim gain staging. Has line inputs for processing keyboards, mixes, etc. This is a pretty clean unit inside and out. I will miss it!

I had this for about 6 months and had one tube I had to replace in channel 1 (left side of the unit, from the front). Rather than get a matched pair, I decided to get a single Genalex Gold Lion 12AT7 / ECC81 Gold Pin so I could compare sounds with the right channel. So you get a non-matching channel discount, and get to compare for your ears in your situation. The Gold Lion tubes are readily available matched, burned in, and fully tested from Ruby Tubes.

Shipping is expensive because I live in a very remote place in Colorado, so I use USPS since any other service is more than an hour's drive away. Also, the ADL 600 is big and heavy. I pack very thoroughly, typically with inner and outer boxes with packing material in between, rack ears securely padded, packing material secured around the unit in the inner box so no shifting can occur during shipment, etc., and I ship fully insured.
