This 1956 Fender Deluxe (S/N D-01697) is an exceptionally clean example of one of
Fender’s most iconic narrow-panel tweed amplifiers. Featuring the highly desirable
5E3 circuit, the Deluxe is celebrated for its warm, harmonically rich tone, dynamic
response, and unmistakable overdrive when pushed.
This amplifier retains its original speaker and has received a partial recap with
vintage-correct values to maintain proper operation and reliability. Exceptionally
clean and well preserved, this Deluxe is a wonderful example of the legendary 5E3
and represents one of the most sought-after amplifiers of Fender’s golden tweed era.
