Up for sale is a vintage 1963 Fender Blackface Deluxe, a fantastic-sounding amplifier with unmistakable vintage Fender character, warmth, touch sensitivity, and plenty of tonal versatility.
The amplifier has been professionally serviced by legendary amp technician Roy Blankenship, so it is ready to plug in and play. It delivers the classic vintage Fender tone that works beautifully for blues, rock, country, jazz, and studio recording.
The first channel has been modified with a tone-stack bypass, giving the amp additional output, presence, and flexibility compared with a completely stock circuit. Used with an A/B switch, the two channels provide a wide range of useful sounds—from traditional sparkling Fender cleans to thicker, more aggressive tones. This modification makes the amplifier especially versatile for both live performance and recording.
The amp currently features a Hellatone G12H-30 speaker, which pairs extremely well with the circuit and gives the amplifier a strong, articulate voice with excellent punch and breakup.
The original cabinet was replaced with a Mojotone vintage replica pine cabinet. It looks the part, provides a solid vintage-style platform, and is a nice practical upgrade for players who want the classic appearance and feel without relying on an older, more fragile cabinet.
This is a great vintage-vibe Fender amplifier with excellent tone, professional servicing, useful modifications, and the original speaker included. It would be equally at home on stage, in a recording studio, or as a centerpiece of a serious vintage amp collection.
