CFG CF-80 2.4GHz Guitar/Bass Wireless System

The CFG CF-80 2.4GHz Wireless Guitar & Bass System is a compact, digital plug-and-play wireless solution designed by Cable Free Guitar (CFG). It serves as a budget-friendly, everyday alternative to traditional instrument cables, ideally suited for home practice, rehearsals, studio use, and smaller live gigs.

Operating Band: 2.4GHz digital ISM frequency range.

Audio Quality: 16-bit / 48kHz digital uncompressed transmission.

Latency: Under 4 milliseconds, ensuring an immediate feel with no noticeable delay while playing.

Frequency Response: Wide 10Hz – 22kHz range, intentionally engineered to keep low-end bass frequencies clear, natural, and intact.

Operational Range: Up to 100 feet (30 meters) with a clear line of sight.

Consists of two matching dongles—one clearly labeled Transmitter (for the instrument) and one labeled Receiver (for the amp or pedalboard). Features a stiff, 220-Degree rotating Swivel 1/4-inch mono TS plug. The rigidity ensures it stays tightly positioned against the body of various instrument shapes, including Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Les Pauls, staying clear of tremolo bars. Includes integrated padding or a rubber bumper on the inner side to cushion the device against the instrument and protect its finish from scratches. The external chassis is primarily lightweight plastic with metal jack housings.

Battery Life: Built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 8 hours of playtime per charge.

Works seamlessly with standard passive electric guitars, basses, and acoustic-electrics using 1/4-inch mono outputs. Compatible with most active electronics. However, very hot active pickups or complex piezo systems can occasionally introduce hum or RF noise. For these instruments, the manufacturer recommends using an external holster (included) and extension cable (not included) to keep the transmitter away from the active body cavities.
