Is this sound truly what youfd expect from Friedman?
While it focuses on the midrange, it delivers a sound with great body and depth.
Even when pushed to high distortion levels, the sound retains excellent separation and clarity, making it very easy to handle.
When used at 18V, it produces a fatter sound with greater dynamic contrast.
Perhaps you could call it a more gamp-likeh sound.
There really is a significant difference in sound between 9V and 18V.
