Up for sale is a vintage Dynacord MCX 24.4.2 24-channel analog mixing console. Built in Germany with renowned vintage build quality, this board offers rich analog headroom, warm preamps, and flexible routing—ideal for live sound setups, analog recording rigs, or as a sub-mixer/summing mixer.
Key Features & Specs
Inputs: 24 mono channels featuring discrete XLR microphone inputs, 1/4" line inputs, and insert jacks on every channel.
Channel Strip EQ: 3-band equalizer per channel, featuring a sweepable semi-parametric midrange control (FREQ) for precise tone shaping.
Subgroups & Auxiliaries: 4 discrete subgroup buses (SUB 1–4) with independent faders, plus 4 Aux Sends per channel for outboard effects processing and monitor mixes.
Metering: Built-in 6-column LED meter bridge displaying real-time level activity for Subgroups 1–4 and Master L/R outputs, complete with a PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) indicator.
Condition & Functional Testing
Functional Status: All 24 channel preamps, faders, EQ sections, subgroup routing buttons (SUB 1+2, SUB 3+4, MASTER), and aux sends pass clean audio without dead channels or dropouts. The master LED meter bridge and PFL functions operate properly.
Cosmetic Condition: Shows light cosmetic wear typical of vintage gear from its era (minor surface scuffs/scratches on casing), but overall very well preserved (see high-res photos for exact condition).
