Just my opinion ...this is the best hi hat pedal ever! I bought it New and it is still Brand New... never played! Still packed in its original packing and box. I tried one of these out while at a drum store..loved it and bought one on the spot. After getting it home, I opened it up ..and much to my mis-fortune, it would not fit in my existing trap case! I couldn't cary it around separately...so as much as I wanted to use it ... I put it back in the box and it has sat unused since. So for all intents and purposes it is brand new.
