The Fender ST71-85TX is a crafted-in-Japan Stratocaster modeled after a 1971 Stratocaster. It features an ash body and USA Texas Special single-coil pickups. A Maple neck with a 7.25" fretboard radius fingerboard. Larger 70s-style headstock, three-bolt neck plate, and Schaller-made "F" tuners.
This particular ST71-85TX was a one off color sample purchased in 2006 from a former Fender employee. The color is a white blonde burst with an iridescent top coat giving it a purple glow when moving. Back plate was never drilled or installed per typical color sample. Happy to provide provenance to collectors.
Very minor wear to the finish (small dings and scratches).
