Vintage spec motown wolfbox bass direct box with authentic vintage 1965 Triad 10J which is similar but even a bit sweeter and juicier than the more known 11J (see 3rd pic of google AI summary of difference between them). Motown also used the 12J in the original wolfbox, which I also have a vintage 60s model of and has the 11J specs and sound, if you want that instead of the 10J just let me know after purchase, but the 10J is the best to me and I had original 11J's too. Smooth rich natural vintage DI bass tone ala james jamerson, beatles, etc. Great on guitar too.
Wired same as wolfbox in bass direct mode, minus the unnecessary high level atten pad knob & switch not used with bass, which was made for higher level keyboards. All passive, no battery or phantom power, simply plug and play. Whole unit is made of USA parts of vintage spec including switchcraft front 1/4" jacks (both are IN or THRU). Center ground lift switch (Lift UP ground DOWN). Rear jack is XLR switchcraft output. The front 1/4" IN + THRU jacks are identical and interchangeable, either can be used to plug your bass in or run back out thru to an amp for parallel blending a miced speaker (check for phase when doing so, you may need to flip phase of miced signal in your DAW as some amps are out of phase by design, if you decide to use the thru to amp and blend that with the DI, but the sound of this unit is the DI. Ships UPS ground in usa.
