Vintage Electro-Voice 630 Hi-Z Dynamic Microphone
This microphone is functioning but it very noisy
Vintage Electro-Voice Model 630 omnidirectional dynamic microphone manufactured in Buchanan, Michigan, likely dating from the 1950s. It features a polished chrome Art Deco-style housing, adjustable swivel mount and built-in on/off switch.
This microphone was tested using a known-working compatible vintage cable, functioned, but was very noisy. The precise cause has not been diagnosed. It may have an issue with the switch, internal wiring, connector or microphone element, or just old age.
The microphone remains visually appealing and presents well for its age. It has normal vintage cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs, discoloration and finish wear. Please examine all photographs closely for the exact condition.
