Gibson J-55 Acoustic Guitar – Made in USA

Very cool Gibson J-55 acoustic, serial A603470, with a classic slope-shouldered dreadnought body and warm vintage Gibson character. The guitar is fully original and comes with an aftermarket hardshell case.

It is in good condition for its age with normal scratches, marks and finish wear. The action is on the higher side farther up the neck, although the guitar still has time before a neck reset becomes necessary. The nut and original bridge were recently professionally filed and adjusted by Matt at 30th Street Guitars in New York City.

The original tortoise binding was also secured by 30th Street Guitars. It remains intact but is chipping and deteriorating in places, as commonly seen on these J-55s. Its condition and all other cosmetic wear are shown clearly in the photos.
