Symetrix SX202 Dual Mic Preamp

The Symetrix SX202 is a classic two-channel microphone preamp from the 1990s that has earned a reputation as a bit of a sleeper in the studio world. It offers clean, detailed preamp performance in a compact package, with plenty of gain and flexible output options.

This particular unit is in excellent working condition. I have been using it regularly in my smoke-free home studio to test microphones, and all functions and outputs have worked properly. It does have a few scratches on the case from rack mounting as you can see in the pictures.

One particularly useful feature of the SX202 is its flexible output configuration. This unit provides:

I have owned this unit for approximately 20 years. I purchased it used, so I don't know its complete history before I owned it, but it has spent the past two decades in my smoke-free home studio and has been well cared for.
