This guitar is fashioned after Mark Knopfler's first Dire Straits guitar which he called 'the Sultans' guitar. Red body, rosewood neck, Texas Special pickups (hotter vintage). I have installed a Freeway 10-way switch primarily for a humbucker sound (bridge and middle pickup in series, rather than in parallel). Recent full setup, as per photo of invoice. This guitar is fashioned after '62 Strat. Nitro cellulose is aging beautifully. Sounds amazing through my Fender re-issue Vibroverb.
