My parents purchased this guitar for me when I was in middle school and I took one lesson with it. Unfortunately, I was not the type to stick with hobbies, so this bass guitar rested in my closet, unused after that initial lesson. I came upon it again recently and found that it has become a collectible item.

I took it to Guitar Center after seeing the same guitar listed on their site for $1,499 and others listed online for ~$800-2k.

The staff called their Vintage Department who told me they’d sell it for $800 and give me $400. I’m not sure why it was priced lower than the other one on their site because it’s in great condition and practically unused. While I was there, the employees tuned and tested it and it’s working well.

I decided it would be better to sell it myself and I hope it can get into the right hands.

Because I’m lowering the price a bit, I’d ask the buyer to pay shipping fees.
