The serial numbers are only 142 units apart, making these an unusually close-produced pair and a particularly nice setup for anyone looking to run Aegirs as monoblocks.

They can be used as a conventional stereo pair or configured as monoblocks for significantly greater power and headroom, making them an excellent choice for driving demanding speakers.

Both amplifiers have been meticulously cared for and kept in a dedicated, smoke-free listening room. The aluminum faceplates are exceptionally clean, with no scratches, nicks, or corner dings. Both operate flawlessly with no protection faults and provide a quiet, clean background.

The Aegir's Continuity output stage delivers the smooth, linear character associated with Class A operation while extending those benefits well beyond its Class-A bias region, allowing the amplifier to deliver substantially more power when configured as a monoblock.

Smooth, natural and highly resolving presentation. Excellent clarity, imaging and dimensionality. The sound is clean and effortless, with excellent low-level detail and a natural sense of body and texture. Vocals have presence, acoustic instruments have beautiful timbre, and recordings have an engaging sense of depth and space. It combines audiophile level resolution with musicality without sounding sterile or overly analytical.
