Fender 1974 Telecaster Thinline Natural [559833] (08/24)
A unique Telecaster that combines clarity and full-bodied tone, thanks to its lightweight semi-hollow body and wide-range pickups.
The 1974 Telecaster Thinline is a model known for its lightweight, easy-to-handle semi-hollow construction and rich response with a resonant, boxy tone. The hollowed-out body structure delivers an airy tone that sets it apart from solid-body models, and it offers an exceptionally nimble playing feel.Furthermore, by featuring two Wide Range humbuckers, it offers superior high-end clarity compared to standard humbuckers while maintaining a solid, full-bodied sound with a defined core. Its unique character, which also hints at single-coil nuances, makes it suitable for a wide range of genres, from clean to driven tones.Combined with period-accurate features such as a three-point neck mounting and a six-saddle bridge, this guitar embodies the distinctive character and practicality of the 1970s. It is highly recommended for players seeking a unique sound and playing experience not found in standard Telecasters.
Since the pickguard was cracked when the guitar arrived, we have created and installed a new one featuring a WH3PLY/AGED finish. The original pickguard is also included.
There are signs of wear appropriate for its age, including scratches, dents, and tarnished or rusted parts.
There are scattered areas of paint peeling on the neck side. The guitar has been set up, including a fret level, but
the remaining fret height is somewhat low, so there may be slight buzzing in certain positions; however, there is no muffled tone,
and there are no issues with playability.
* Both locks on the included case are broken.
