The Alesis D4 is a classic 1991 professional 1U rackmount digital drum and percussion sound module. It features over 500 16-bit, 48 kHz sampled sounds, 12 trigger inputs for acoustic or electronic pads, and full MIDI capabilities, making it a staple for hybrid acoustic-electronic drum kits and studio.
- Sound Library: Over 500 uncompressed 16-bit PCM samples (including 99 kicks, 99 snares, 92 toms, 55 cymbals, 76 percussion, and 80 effects).
- Trigger Inputs: 12 individual 1/4" trigger inputs on the rear panel to hook up acoustic drum triggers or electronic pads.
- Polyphony: 16-voice polyphony.
