Up for sale is a 1965 Fender Twin Reverb. This amp is in very good cosmetic condition and excellent working order.
This is THE classic Fender amp, it delivers all of the quintessential bell-like chime and resonance of the classic Fender voicing, bright and clean but with just enough saturation to make an instrument sing.
Original speakers blew and were replaced with a pair Eminence Red, White, and Blues which are voiced very similarly to the originals and sound fantastic. The power cable has been replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong cable. Original reverb tank was broken and has been replaced with an Accutronics 17" tank. Resistors and filter caps were out of tolerance and were replaced. A suppression cap was installed to eliminate vibrato ticking. Bias diode was failing and replaced.
This amp was freshly tuned up earlier this year by Matt at Shake Shop in Chicago and it sounds incredible, they can verify its electronic condition as well if you get in touch w them.
Includes casters, vibrato/reverb footswitch, and a custom leather amp cover.
