Hard to find 4 input, non-master volume version in excellent condition. 50 watts.
It houses the legendary, highly dynamic "Plexi" circuit inside 1980s cosmetics. I've read where the Marshall factory was switching over from Plexi's to JCM 800's and had some Plexi chassis still around so they placed them in the newer JCM 800 housings.
I had an amp tech look over the amp a few years ago and he said that he followed the schematic and couldn't find any mods. Has the original Drake transformer. I've taken the amp to a few places over the years and each time was told that "This was the best Marshall I've ever heard." Of course, your mileage may vary but to me it sounds glorious and just punches you in the gut for 50 watts.
