What’s two universes beyond ambient? At its heart, Outward is a sampler that repeats in mystical ways. Sampling is controlled by your playing or an LFO. Freeze, stutter and time-stretch modes are also thrown in. Can add a separate voice pitched an octave up or down. Eight quirky granular modes and four onboard presets. Spiralcaster's vid goes through all eight modes.
This is Gen 2.0, which had a short initial run. No MIDI. It has Mix and Volume knobs as opposed to the Wet and Dry that v2.5 has. Otherwise the intestines and functions are the same. In original box with printout of the manual.
